Brian Curtis -- Renewed at KXAS
Anchor/Reporter
With more than 20 years of professional experience, you would be hard pressed to find a journalist with Brian's depth and breadth of expertise. Brian is currently the main anchor at KXAS, the NBC-owned station in Dallas. NBC has trusted Brian to cover everything from the space shuttle Columbia tragedy to three consecutive Olympic Games. Brian's peers have honored his work with multiple Emmy Awards for skills as diverse as writing, anchoring, consumer and sports reporting. The Texas Associated Press Broadcasters named Brian the best anchor in Texas. Brian has a passion for quality journalism that he brings to the newsroom every day. And in a business of big egos, Brian is a nice guy who understands how to lead by example.
In July of 2009 Brian Curtis was named the KXAS new 10 PM anchor.
